How do I remove the "Use the light version of Outlook Web App" on OWA Logon page
I have Exchange 2010 SP1 installed and our field representatives use OWA extensively. Periodically someone accidentally checks the box to "Use the light version of Outlook Web App." This causes much confusion for the users. They don't know why
everything changes, which elevates their emotional state before they call to blame me. I don't want them to have access to this option. Everyone is using a premium grade browser and we have no need for this "feature."
How do I permanently remove "Use the light version of Outlook Web App" (and check box) from displaying on the Log on screen?
A step by step would be appreciated.

This:
http://www.leederbyshire.com/OWA-Disable-Basic-Option-Exchange-2010.asp should be what you want based on what you asked. Havent done it myself but since I have nothing better to do this evening Im going to do it on one of my CASs. Of course, I shall
back up the VHD that the CAS sits in. You might want to do something similar......

Hi,
How about your question? Any updates?
It works in my test lab. But as I know, this will be unsupported.

Commenting out those exact lines did not do it.
However, the checkbox code just above it did:
<!--tr>
<td><input id="chkBsc" type="checkbox" class="rdo" onclick="clkBsc();"></td>
<td nowrap><label for="chkBsc"><%=LocalizedStrings.GetHtmlEncoded(Strings.IDs.UseOutlookWebAccessBasicClient) %></label></td>
</tr-->
